Ōhope Friendship Club
About
Ōhope Friendship Club
is a vibrant social club for retired and semi-retired people and senior citizens.
The group of 100 plus members meets monthly — every third Monday at 9:30am — at the Ōhope Bowling Club. Each meeting features a visiting speaker and a delicious morning tea.
Beyond the monthly gatherings, members enjoy a variety of social activities and interest groups. These include hiking, walking, and biking groups, garden visits, monthly luncheons, trips to shows and concerts, and sightseeing outings beyond the local area.
Visitors are always welcome — come along and see what we're all about!
Friendship and Belonging
We believe in the power of connection. Our members enjoy meaningful friendships, shared experiences, and a strong sense of community.
Lifelong Learning
Guest speakers and group activities offer plenty of chances to discover new interests and stay engaged with the world.
Active Living
From scenic walks to exciting outings, we encourage staying active and enjoying everything life in and around Ōhope has to offer.
